After unveiling Neuralink Corp. last month, Elon Musk, CEO of the company has announced that neural devices (brain implants) will be ready by 2021, five years from now. This is said to be his ambitious project to fix disabilities by merging biological intelligence and digital intelligence. The brain implants will act as an interface between human brains and computing devices to cure brain injuries.
Neuralink aims at bringing the device to the market in five years which will make people engage in consensual telepath. The company will “communicate a concept to you, you would essentially engage in consensual telepath,” Musk said in an interview. These implants will help people to recover from brain injuries due to stroke, cancer, lesion and other factors.

We humans have loads of ideas inside our head and brain apparently doesn’t use 100 percent of its credibility. Brains squeeze lots of idea that emerge within itself to low data such as speaking and typing and according to Musk, these implants will act as a separate brain, that’s an individual will have two brain interfaces which “you could actually do an uncompressed direct conceptual communication with another person.”
Musk’s neurotechnology startup Neuralink is his third company along with Tesla and SpaceX. His announcement comes a day after Facebook’s intentions to build a noninvasive sensor capable of letting all people type 100 words-per-minute handling only by brain waves. Musk said that his computer interface device will be non-invasive and hopes that one day it will become easily accessible to common people and affordable
