Facebook Messenger has a hidden inbox for storing messages that you’d never know existed. Facebook is smart and intelligent – Agree. Aren’t you? Facebook knows who sees your profile, sends you a friend request, sends messages to you, and more. Facebook, sometimes, blocks some anonymous user from accessing your account in order to protect your privacy.
You might have already experienced receiving messages who isn’t your friend and in that situation, Facebook alters you to let you know. Facebook, however, doesn’t do this for every message you receive from anonymous users. If the social-media AI thinks it is a spam, it will directly hide these messages in a secret inbox. And, there is a way to find the hidden vault.
Open the Facebook Messenger app on your smartphone.
Head to “settings” app, look for “People” option and select it.
And, then tap “Message Requests.”
Look for “See filtered requests” option at the bottom of the screen. You can see this option only if you have unread messages from a non-Facebook friend.
And, finally, you are in. This is where you can find unread messages on Facebook Messenger.
