For past few weeks, Facebook’s music streaming service is the frequently discussed topic in the digital music world as the company is working on a music streaming service more or less similar to Spotify. The world’s biggest social networking company is currently hiring music-focused talents, of which one of the posts called “Label Music Business Development Lead”.

These guys will be responsible to lead Facebook’s strategy and negotiations with music labels around the world, plus “collaborating with our product and media partnerships teams to ensure a coordinated and best-in-class licensing structure”. On successful completion of training, the candidates will “work with Facebook’s product and partnerships teams to ensure a comprehensive music strategy that supports our efforts to make the world more connected on Facebook.”

The other two similar job position were also been recruited for the past few days, but they will be working with North America and international markets. Facebook, earlier this year, hired Tamara Hrivnak who had worked with YouTube and Warner Music Group as its head of global music strategy. All these things indicate that Facebook is working on something that has to do with music.

Facebook hasn’t publicly announced about its pitching into music thing yet. But these hires confirm that the company is developing a music streaming service similar to Spotify and Apple music. The company is already in talks with media companies to produce short videos of less than 10 minutes in length to air on TVs – something similar to that, may be internet airing.
