HTC has launched a new version of its 2015 top of the line offering in Europe. Called the HTC One M9 Prime Camera Edition, it is now listed on company’s German site. As for looks, it remains the same of the flagship, however, there has been some changes in its specs.
The One M9 Prime Camera Edition is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset powering the One M9. RAM and storage have been downgraded to 2GB and 16GB than in the One M9. Similarly, the new One M9 Prime Camera Edition sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS, dual-LED flash, and 4K video recording along with a 4-UltraPixel front-camera.
Apart from these, all other specs remain to be the same to that of the last year’s flagship, though. It has the same 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display, a 2840mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, GLONASS, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, and LTE.
The One M9 Prime Camera Edition is currently available in contract with Play carried in Poland at around EUR 22.70 per month for a period of 24 months. Featuring an all-metal unibody design, the handset is available in Gunmetal Grey and Gold color variants. We hope that this model will also be available in other markets in the near future.
