In a bid to expand its smartphone portfolio in the country, Huawei will be launching two new Y-series smartphones in India. The Huawei Y3II and Huawei Y5II are the two smartphones spotted on the company’s official website, though there’s no mention of pricing and availability details, just yet. As they were listed on their site, we can expect their launch in the coming days.

Huawei Y3II

Both the handsets carry almost identical specifications except the processor. The new Huawei handsets will come in two variants – 3G and 4G – featuring different chipsets. The Huawei Y3II 3G will have a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M chipset inside while the 4G variant will be powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735M chip. In the same way, the 3G variant of Huawei Y II will have a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 SoC and the 4G variant will come with a .3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P SoC under the belt.

The two Y series smartphones will be running Android 5.1 Lollipop based EMUI 3.1 OS out-of-the-box. Both smartphones come with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage with expandable storage support.  The rest of the specifications of Huawei Y3II include a 4.5-inch FWVGA, 5-megapixels on the rear, 2-megapixels on the front and a 2100mAh battery.

Huawei Y5II

Huawei Y5II, on the other hand, features a 5-inch HD display with 1280 x 780-pixel resolution, 8-megapixels on the back, 2-megapixels on the front and a 2200mAh battery. Both the new Huawei Y-series smartphones include all usual connectivity options and will be available in Rose Pink, Sky Blue, Arctic White, Obsidian Black, and Sand Gold colors.
