Just a few days left behind for Apple’s much-expected spring event (March 21), we’re able to see rumors floating around and interestingly they might do their part even during the event itself. Apple plans to show off the phone’s camera features in a short promo video that comprises 4K footage completely shot the device itself, according to sources. Apple had its employees shooting on location in New York for the promo, the sources claimed.
Earlier leaks have speculated that the iPhone SE would be the modest upgrade over the iPhone 5s, but it will also share the key features from the iPhone 6 flagships sufficient to satiate demand for a smaller 4-inch format iPhone. Likely, the name of the new iPhone in question has been changing lately, which was previously rumored to be iPhone 5se, but now it is claimed to be iPhone SE, that makes sense to some extent.
However, we have to wait until March 21 to get a clear picture on the new iPhone name. As the event date nears, the rumor mill is painting a picture of the new iPhone that draws more closely to iPhone 6S. The new iPhone, however, will not have the 3D Touch technology, but it is expected to incorporate NFC module for Apple Pay along with 12MP iSight camera with support for Live Photos.
As for specs, the new iPhone will be powered by Apple’s latest A9 processor and updated hardware and software functionality. Since it has 12Mp camera onboard, we can expect it to feature 4k video recording at 30 frames per second, 1080p slo-mo at 120 fps and 720p at 240 fps, and playback zoom.
The iPhone SE will come in Gold, Silver, and Space Grey colour options and in 16GB and 64GB inbuilt storage variants. Apple is expected to announce the iPhone SE, a new 9.7” iPad Pro and potential Apple Watch accessories at its spring event set to held on March 21.
