Microsoft has released a new update for the Windows 10-powered Lumia 550 smartphone that bumps the firmware version to 15503.21007, however, the OS version remains the same. Currently, the update hasn’t rolled out officially, but you can update your phone through the Windows Device Recovery Tool.
It’s worth noting that if you update your device using the Windows Device Recover Tool, your data will be lost. So, make sure to backup all the data before updating the firmware of your device.
We don’t know what’s included in the update right now, that’s said, it is available through the recovery Tool, and an official announcement is awaited yet, when the update rolls out over-the-air (OTA).
