The Galaxy Tab S2 variant of the T-Mobile carrier in the United States has started receiving the Android Marshmallow update. The update comes after the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 units on AT&T starts receiving the update over the weekend.
The update bumps the OS version to Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 and it is being currently released to LTE models. The update bumps the firmware to T817TUVU2BPF1 and weighs in at 1GB. As network carriers usually do, the update has been rolled out as over the air (OTA), so it might take some time before it reaches you. You can also check for the update manually by heading to your device’s Settings menu.
