Huawei has launched the latest lineup from its Honor series, the Honor 8. It will be available for purchase in China starting July 19 in Pearl White, Sunrise Gold, Midnight Black, Sakura Pink and Sapphire Blue colors.
The Huawei Honor 8 will be offered in three flavors, with its top of the line variant having 4GB RAM plus 64GB storage at 2499 CNY (Rs. 26,000), the mid-range model with 4GB RAM plus 32GB storage will cost at 2299 CNY (Rs. 24,000), and the base one with 3GB RAM plus 32GB storage will set you back at 1999CNY (Rs. 21,000).
The highlight of the phone is its dual camera setup that features a dual 12-megapixel camera on the back with a f/2.2 aperture. It comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display, an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 3000mAh battery with USB Type-C charging port. It is powered by an octa-core processor with a quad-core Cortex A72 cluster clocked at 2.3GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 cluster clocked at 1.8GHz.
Running the latest Android 6.0 with Huawei’s EMUI 4.1 skin, the handset features hybrid dual SIM configuration with 4G LTE. There’s a fingerprint reader on the back of the phone.
