While we’re busy speculating for the new modular phones from Lenovo backed Motorola – the Moto Z lineup, Lenovo surprised us with the announcement of two Android devices with bendable displays. Earlier rumors have been true that the company is in the works of making phones with flexible screens.
Lenovo refers them as bendable devices, as they actually are. The first device is merely an experiment of a smartphone and a wristband, which you can wrap it around your wrist if you wanted to do so. The next is a tablet that can be folded in half.
Lenovo CTO Peter Hortensius and YouTube star Megan McCarthy showed off the bendable displays and devices at the tech event yesterday. Watch the video below and see that it will very well remind you of the wrist-slap bands of our childhood.
