Lenovo has finally launched the ZUK Edge smartphone in China, which will be going on sale from January 1.

The ZUK Edge features a 5.5-inch full-HD TDDI display with a 2.5D curved glass protection. The handset has 86.4 percent screen-to-body ratio and 85 percent NTSC colour coverage. The fingerprint sensor under the glass is capable to unlock the device in 0.09 seconds. It has built-in blood oxygen heart rate sensor, neumatic altimeter and a UV light sensor.

Running on the latest Android 7.0 Nogat operating system, the Lenovo ZUK Edge supports dual-SIM functionality and is powered by the fastest 2.35GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC. It comes with either 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.0 internal storage and it is not expandable.

On optics front, the ZUK Edge equips a 13-megapixel rear camera with a 1.34-micron pixel Samsung ISOCELL sensor, an f/2.2 aperture, PDAF+CAF hybrid autofocus, and a high-brightness flash. There’s an 8-megapixel camera with a 1.12-micron pixel sensor, and an f/2.2 aperture.

The ZUK Edge measures 142.9 x 74.5 x 7.68mm and weighs 160 grams. The phone is has strong audiophile aspirations with a Dirac HD Sound providing better Hi-Fi audio, and the 3.5mm audio jack is also present. In terms of connectivity, there’s 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and USB Type-C. It is powered by a 3100mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.

The Lenovo ZUK Edge will be available in Ceramic White and Titanium Black. The 4GB variant will be retailing at $330 (2299 CNY), and the 6GB RAM model for $360 (2499 CNY).
