While pre-orders for Samsung’s latest flagship Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have already gone to the roof and customers have started receiving the smartphones, LG’s modular G5 is still stocked in the company’s hub yet. Both flagship smartphones made their debut at the same time, but G5 isn’t hitting the stores until April. BestBuy would be the first to start accepting pre-orders for the phone starting March 18 in the U.S., at least.
A dedicated web page has been cropped up on BestBuy’s website confirming that the pre-orders for the phone will be up from March 18, but still there is no official announcement on when the phone will be available in the U.S. though, it has been confirmed as April 8 for the UK and Canada. So, Americans may expect the launch to happen around the same time. And, it is said that LG will ship some of its G5 friends bundled with the phone like an extra battery and a charging cradle. However, you’ll have to buy the rest separately, though.
