While Microsoft has already began shipping the Windows 10 flagship Lumia 950 series, the next in line to grab the attention of Windows 10 lovers could be apparently none other than the Lumia 850.
A press photo of the alleged Lumia 850 has been on circulation over the internet and when digging out further, we found that it will be the next Lumia smartphone gearing up for 2016 release. The smartphone is code-named as ‘Honjo’ and the leaked photo shows the front and back design in detail.
Not sure, whether the whole body of the smartphone is metal built or it bears only the side metal frame. The sides of the phone have a gold metal padding alongside volume, power/sleep buttons and Microsoft logo in gold. However, it misses out camera shutter button on the sides, which the Lumia 950/950 XL boasts.
On the front, it sports a front facing camera with LED flash. The capacitive keys under the screen have gone, so it works with onscreen navigation. The alleged specifications of the smartphone are a 5-inch 720p display, Snapdragon 410 SoC and 1GB of RAM. Other reports suggest a 5.7-inch FHD display and a Snapdragon 617 SoC.
Camera-wise, the rear will sport a 10MP Pure-View camera and either a 5MP or 8MP camera at the front. However, stay tuned with us to learn more about the Lumia 850 till the official confirmation is released.
