Samsung has launched an impressive smartphone with a new Bike S feature – the first in a smartphone, in India. The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) is priced at INR 9,000 ($135) and it will be available exclusively on Snapdeal starting today. The phone was actually debuted in China last year, and now it comes to India.
The significant feature of the phone is its Bike S mode, which is sort of “Do Not Disturb” feature that once enabled via NFC prevents unwanted distractions while riding a bike. It will play a message, explaining that the phone’s owner is riding a bike and can’t answer. You can still answer incoming calls through, however, motion lock ensures you’re completely idle before the phone lets you answer.
The Galaxy J3 is a dual-SIM smartphone that features a 5” 720p Super AMOLED display, a quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB storage, a microSD expansion of up to 128GB, 8-megapixels on the back, 5-megapixels on the front and a 2600mAh battery. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Samsung TouchWiz UI on top.
