Hugo Barra, VP Xiaomi, has released the first video teaser for the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone – the Mi 5. Interestingly, the teaser isn’t showing a single image of the smartphone, instead, the video features record holder Xiao Lin Cen, who can skip rope 1096 times in 3 minutes. “Forget everything you know about speed, #Mi5 will show you the meaning of fast in just 7 days now,” Barra says in the post accompanying the teaser.
As far specs, the handset is confirmed to run on Snapdragon 820 SoC. Other rumored specs include 5.2″ QHD display, 3GB/4GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of internal storage, 16MP/13MP camera combo, as well as a 3,600mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The Xiaomi Mi 5 is slated for launch on February 24.
