Earlier this week, Yu Televentures began teasing its next flagship smartphone, which is next in line to be unveiled later this month. Several leaks and rumors speculated over the name of the flagship, and it turns out to be true. The company has started rolling out the media invites for the launch of its new flagship that has now got an official name, which will be unveiled at an event in New Delhi on May 19.
Yu’s next device will be called a Yunicorn – “the phone that will redefine flagships”, according to the official event invite which you can see below.
The Yu Yunicorn is expected to pack in some best in class hardware as it always does. While Cyanogen will be no longer available in Yu’s devices, the new flagship will likely be running stock Android with Micromax’s Around service. The device is expected to have the MediaTek Helio X10 SoC under the hood and 4GB of RAM.
