The Chinese mobile maker, Oppo, the official global partner of the 2016 ICC World Twenty20, has launched the Oppo F1 ICC WT20 limited edition smartphone.
Inspired from the Twenty20 World Cup, the mobile is priced at Rs. 17,990, which us Rs. 2000 up from the price of regular version of the phone. The Oppo F1 was launched back in January in India at Rs. 17,990.
Aside, the company will also be running some contests as part of its campaign and the winners will get a brand new Oppo F1 smartphone.
“We are happy to launch a customised edition of Oppo F1 for the ICC WT20 2016. It gives us immense pleasure to be associated with ICC and cheer for Team India. We wish Team India success in this tournament,” said Sky Li, Oppo Global VP, MD of International Mobile Business and President, Oppo India.
The Oppo F1 features almost the same specifications as the original Oppo F1 except the storage option – the limited edition packs 32GB instead of 16GB as seen in Oppo F1. The smartphone comes bundled with 016 ICC World Twenty20 key chain, selfie stick, and with the back cover showing the ICC logo.
To recall, the dual-SIM smartphone packs a 5-inch HD display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 coating protection, a Snapdragon 616 chipset, Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory, microSD extension up to 128GB, and packs a 2500mAh battery. In terms of camera, the handset boasts a 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel front camera.
The Oppo F1 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with ColorsOS2.1 skin and it includes all standard connectivity options.
