Pokemon Go for Apple Watch

Several reports popped out on the internet space last week claiming Niantic, the company behind the world popular game Pokemon Go, has put the companion wearable app for the Apple Watch on shelves.

But, Niantic has confirmed that Pokemon Go for Apple watch is coming soon through its tweet. Going by the tweet, there is no need to be worried as the wearable companion app is still under development which might launch anytime soon, most probably in the first quarter of 2017.

Even several big sites said that Niantic had cancelled Pokemon Go for Apple Watch, when it first emerged on Reddit where a user posted which appeared to be a customer support email saying that the app has put on hold. And, other sites citing some unknown sources claimed the app was cancelled.

Contrary to the rumours, Niantic cleared the air today on its Twitter handle. If you remember, Niantic showcased the preview of Pokemon Go app for Apple Watch at Apple’s September event. They said that the app will be launched before the end of the year.

Time is running! Let’s see Niantic is able to keep up its word!
