Reliance Jio is yet to launch its service officially, which is now running preview offer to users of LYF phones and Samsung select models. The company is extending the preview offer to other phone makers too. Xiaomi had partnered with Reliance Jio offering the service starting with Redmi 3 Note.
Meanwhile, the customers who enabled their services in May are nearing the end date of their preview offer. And, there’s a good news for these customers, as Reliance has extended the preview offer for 30 days. So it means that those who activated their services in May should have received a message stating that the trial period is extended. If you’ve not received any messages from Reliance, you’re supposed to receive it before your offer ends.
This is what it looks like:
“Dear Customer, Thank You for being a part of the Jio Preview Offer! As a special gesture, we have extended our trial period. We will be auto-refilling your balance accordingly. Check your balance anytime using MyJio app (www.jio.com/getmyjio)”.
Some reports claim that Reliance would launch the Jio on August 15, but in contrast, the extension message hints that the service won’t go live as reported. According to some sources, Reliance will launch the Jio sometime in October.
