Reliance Jio earlier said that those who do not recharge to any of the available plans after April 15th will face disconnection of services. After Jio pulled out Summer Surprise offer based on Trai recommendation, the company introduced a new offer called the Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer last week, the plan similar to Jio Summer Surprise offer.
The Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer gives users unlmimited data with daily cap on recharges of Rs. 309 (1GB daily cap) or Rs. 509 (2GB daily cap) along with Jio Prime subscription. Jio announced that users are required to enroll to Jio Prime by paying an annual fee of Rs. 99 and then need to buy either Rs. 309 or Rs. 509 pack to avoid degradation or discontinuation of services.
Reliance Jio has officially ended the free services on April 15th, and some of the users who haven’t enrolled to Jio Prime still continue to avail the services. However, we have learnt that Jio has begun disconnecting services for those who haven’t recharged yet. Some of the users have received discontinuation of services message and the process is staged. So, if you haven’t recharged to Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, you still have time to get the offer.
As per sources familiar with the matter, Jio will discontinue services to those who haven’t recharged yet by the end of the week. Jio has also taken down Jio Prime enrollment, as April 15th was the last day to sign up for the annual membership. But it seems users can still enroll to Jio Prime by visiting a Jio store or heading to MyJio app or website. There’s no word on how long the Jio Prime and Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer will be up for users to avail.
