Samsung has launched an affordable 4G VoLTE ready smartphone called the Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace, priced at Rs. 8,490. It will be positioned as the entry-level smartphone in J series lineup. The phone will be available for purchase via online and offline retailers starting from today (January 16).
After the launch of Reliance Jio, the need for the 4G VoLTE ready smartphone has been increased and the phone manufacturers are bidding on low cost 4G VoLTE smartphones. Coming to specifications, the Galaxy J2 Ace is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor clubbed with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable internal storage.
The device sports a 5-inch qHD display with TST technology and runs on Android Marshmallow out of the box. The display is powered by Turbo Speed Technology (TST) which launches the apps faster. On camera front, there’s an 8-meagapixel sensor on the back and a 5-megapixel censor Selfie camera.
Connectivity options on the Galaxy J2 Ace include 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB 2.0. A 2600mAh battery completes the package. The phone will be available on Black, silver and grey from today retailing at Rs. 8,490.
