Last week, a leak tipped that the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S7 series will have four varaints– the S7 with a 5.1-inch screen, the S7 edge with a 5.5-inch screen and a couple of 6.0-inches – the S7+ and the S7 edge plus. Now another leaked imaged has surfaced on the internet giving us a hint that the Galaxy S7 will have another variant and a lot more information about the speculated handset.

The latest leaked photo reveals the hardware running on a Samsung SM G93 (which is the codename of the phone) possibly claimed to be the high-end variant of the S7 lineup. The handset sports a 5.7-inch display in diagonal with a QHD (2560×1440 pixels) resolution, just like its predecessors Galaxy S6 series.

The photo also reveals the hardware information of the S7 variant. The alleged variant will run on a Snapdragon 820 chipset with an Adreno 530 GPU, so it definitely can’t be the new Samsung-made Exynos 8 Octa 8890, said to power the Galaxy S7, as it uses the Mali-T880MP12. The image lists the memory as 4GB, and it appears it doesn’t upgrade from the current gen, the Galaxy S6 series. The camera setup is something new, the rear camera sports a 12.2-megapixel sensor and the front has a 5-megapixel sensor. Also, it has a fingerprint sensor as well.

The leaked hardware seems interesting, but the credibility of the sources is yet to be verified. Hopefully, more information will be leaked from the secret box until the Galaxy S7 takes the center stage, which is expected to be February 21. Until then, keep your fingers crossed.
