Samsung started rolling out a new firmware update for its flagship smartphones – the Galaxy S7 and Gallaxy S7 Edge. The update brings overall improved user performance, device stability and bug fixes. The touch handling has been given a special care, thanks to better palm rejection.
Samsung has introduced a new feature for correcting shapes that appears distorted in skewed photos. The update weighs in at 156MB in size and bumps the software build number to XXU1APD1. The rollout will be staged so only some of you (random) will get it at first, and as always, patience is appreciated. Don’t worry, if you didn’t receive the update notification. Also, you can check it manually by heading to appropriate tabs in the Settings app. The update will complete it roll out in the next week or two.
