Sony NW-A25 high-resolution audio walkman

Sony has launched a high-resolution audio player, the NW-A25 in India, which carries a price tag of Rs. 13,990. You can purchase the Walkman via the company’s offline stores and is available in Black, Blue, Pink, Red, and Yellow.

The NW-A25 Walkman features a 2.2-inch TFT-LED screen that allows users to interact with the device and fine-tune Fm radio. The internal memory for the device is limited to 16GB, but you can extend it up to 128GB through microSD card. The gadget supports almost several audio formats of up to 24bit/192KHz resolution, including mp3, wav, aiff, wma, aac, he-aac, flac, and Apple Lossless.

The gadget comes equipped with USB 2.0 for charging and data transfers and Bluetooth 3.0 with AD2P and LDAC allows users to connect the headset wirelessly. The Walkman features DSEE-HX and ClearAudio+ sound technologies for improved sound quality. Also, it boasts noise cancelling function as well, so you can enjoy your favorite numbers amidst crowded places pleasantly. There’s no information on battery capacity, however, it is said to offer up to 30 hours of battery life when used with high-resolution audio and up to 50 hours for compressed audio. Sadly, it doesn’t come bundled with earphone and you’ll have to buy it separately.

Last week, Sony launched SRS-X99 premium speaker and also made handful of official debuts at this year’s CES.
