The most anticipated smartphones from Sony that was first debuted at the MWC 2016 had made their way to the country carrying a price tag of Rs. 48,990 ($729) for Xperia X and Rs. 20,993 ($312) for the Xperia XA.
The Xperia X and XA will be available in White, Graphite Black, Lime Gold and Rose Gold color options. Pre-registrations for the phones are already in the move with Xperia X going on sale starting June 7. The Xperia XA will hit the stores in the third week of June.
In terms of specifications, the Xperia X packs a 5-inch 1080p Triluminos display, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage (up to 200GB). There’s a 23-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS sensor, predictive hybrid autofocus, and pulse LED flash; a 13-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture, a 2620mAh battery and comes with 4G LTE support as well.
The Sony Xperia XA comes with a 5-inch 720p display powered by Mobile Bravia engine 2. It packs a MediaTek MT6755 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, a microSD expansion slot, a 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera and a 2300mAh battery.
Amazon is already offering discounts on Xperia X and it is Rs. 2000 down to the launch price which is retailing at Rs. 46,990.
