Xiaomi today unveiled the new Mi 4s smartphone, the successor of its most popular Mi 4 at an event in Beijing, China. Priced at CNY 1699 ($260), the handset will go on sale starting March 1 alongside the Mi 5. The Mi 4s will be available in Black, Gold, Purple, and White color options.
At this price point, you’ll get a 5-inch 1920 x 1080p resolution display, a Snapdragon 808 chipset, an Adreno 418 GPU, 3GB RAM, 64GB internal memory, a microSD card slot, and a 3,260mAh battery. The Mi 4s features a glass panel on the front as well as back with metal frame in the middle. Measuring 139.26 x 70.76 x 7.8mm, the phone weighs just 133g.
In terms of camera, the handset sports a 13MP camera on the rear with PDAF and dual-tone LED Flash. There is a 5MP front snapper as well. Also, there’s a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. The Mi 4S supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS, and packs USB Type-C.
