Xiaomi today announced that it sold over 600,000 units of the Redmi Note 3 smartphone in India in just 60 days of weekly sales.
“We just reached another milestone at Mi India—in just 60 days of weekly sales, we have sold over 6 lakhs units of Redmi Note 3—our biggest record yet—all thanks to you. I cannot thank you enough for the overwhelming and continuous support. You guys are total rock stars!” Hugo Barra, Xiaomi’s Global VP posted on Facebook.
The Redmi Note 3 was launched back in March this year in two models – the 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage variant costs RS. 9,999 and the 3GB/32GB variant sets you back for Rs. 11,999.
To recall, the smartphone packs a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, Snapdragon 650 SoC, 16MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, fingerprint reader, and a 4050mAh battery. It runs MIUI 7 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
