The re-designed traditional Beetle made its debut in 2011 globally and this antique vehicle conquered the likes of millions of people all over the world. The latest generation of the Volkswagen Beetle was launched in India, priced at Rs. 28.73 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).

The overall appearance of the Beetle still reminds the late 1930’s when it was first launched in Germany. The cosmetic enhancements include panoramic sunroof, bi-xenon headlamps with DRLs, 16-inch allow wheels, and the sides get the body color cladding with chrome finish.

On the Inside front, the car equips all in leather multi-function steering wheel and seats, surround music system, cruise control, start-stop button, and automatic headlights and wipers system. The safety options include airbags, ABS, ESC, disc brakes and brake pad wear indicator.

The tiny car is powered by a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol mill generating 147bhp of power and 250Nm of torque clubbed with 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The mini monster is available in four color options.
