Xiaomi Launched Kids-Focused Mi Bunny Smartwatch With Voice Calling Support

Xiaomi has unveiled a new smartwatch called the Mi Bunny aimed at kids. Ergonomically designed for kids, the smartwatch offers all usual features available in regular smartwatches that acts as a security guard for your kids any time.

Priced at RMB 299 (roughly INR 3094), the smartwatch is now exclusive to China and there are no words on its availability outside China.

Xiaomi Mi Bunny Specs and Features

The Mu Bunny smartwatch comes preloaded with a prepaid SIM card with 10 Yuan credits that offers marginal outgoing rates and free incoming.

It supports voice calling with a one button pressing along with a family group char feature. The device supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and GLONASS connectivity options. There is a one SOS button, which will send the current location of the device to the connected smartphone app of the parents along with a few seconds of audio recording.

Parents can set designated routes and zones using the accompanying app, which will alert them when the wearer goes out of the specified zone. The device is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.2 and up. It can record up to three months of movements with all data transmissions encrypted.

The Mi Bunny is built plastic that comes with silicone straps. It packs in a 300mAh battery that is claimed to deliver up to six days of standby time. The smartwatch weighs the tipping scale at 37 grams.
