Previous rumors tipped that Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi 5 flagship smartphone might be released in two variants. That news became an old story. A fresh rumor is now claiming that the Mi 5 will arrive in four variants, provided that they will differ in design and memory configuration. Of those, two of them will feature full metallic design and will have 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB memory configuration, respectively.
The remaining two variants will have 2.5D curved glass on the front as well as on the back, with 4GB RAM and QHD display in common, however, they will differ in internal memory – 32GB and 64GB.
Also, the pricing of the smartphones has been revealed, with the first two variants carrying a price tag of RMB 2,199 (roughly $335) and RMB 2,599 (roughly $395) respectively. And, the remaining two will be priced at RMB 2,799 (roughly $425) and RMB 3,099 (roughly $470) respectively.
It’s worth to be noted that none of this has been confirmed, so take it with a pinch of salt. But, the confirmed news is that the handset will make its debut on February 24, that’s four weeks after, so we’ll get to know everything about the flagship soon.
