ZTE launches Blade D Lux smartphone with 5.5-inch display, MediaTek processor

The latest outing from the company’s Blade series is the “Blade D Lux,” smartphone, will be first hitting the Vietnam and Singapore markets before it claims the global markets. Priced at VND 3,890,000 (roughly Rs. 11,600) and SGD 239 (roughly Rs. 11,100), the device will be sold by M1 carrier in Singapore.

The new smartphone features a 5.5-inch 720p display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection, dual-SIM support and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. Specs-wise, you’ll get a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 SoC, Adreno 306 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, microSD extension up to 64GB and a 3000mAh battery.

The handset sports 13-megapixels on the back and front-facing 8-megapixels. On the connectivity front, it includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Micro0USB.

There’s no word on when the smartphone will be launched in India and other markets, but we expect that it will be hitting the stores sometime in the second quarter of 2016.
