Canada Inviting People Who are Not Satisfied With US Elections Result

The entire world has been closely watching at the US Presidential Elections and that has come to an end after the results of the US Elections 2016 was announced by the White House of the United States of America earlier today. It was a surprise result for most of the Americans and the supporters of Democratic party, as the Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump is elected as the new President of the United Sates.

Donald Trump Victory Impact

Following the announcement of the victory of the Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump in key swing states of the America, the panicked people began googling about emigration process to other countries online. The key terms “How do I emigrate”, ”Emigrate”, and “How to emigrate to Canada” started trending on Google which saw huge bump in searches after the results were announced.

Soon, people began to trend “end of the world” on Google following the victory of Donald Trump. The Canadian government website crashed within minutes after the news broke, as people rushed to the website looking for how to become Canadian citizens.

Meanwhile, Canada is inviting people of the United States, who were not satisfied with the US election results. So if you are the one who are frustrated with the results, you can move to Canada and have a peaceful life over there.

In the recent times, the percentage of people moving to Canada from the US has been increased by 20 percent and the Canadians who settled in the US are also returning to their home land.

“They’re just coming over, ‘We’re looking to move over this way.’… People are actively looking for properties on this side of the border. They’re just coming on their own. We haven’t been advertising,” Gabe Valente of the Essex County, Ontario, real estate market, told USAToday.

As quoted in IBT, “Around 12.3% of the more than 13.6 million people who raised the immigration queries were from the United States.”

Canada Invites US People

“All applicants who apply to Canada’s immigration programs are treated equally no matter where they are from. Americans can emigrate to Canada, provided they meet the qualifications. There are a number of avenues that applicants for permanent residence can consider in order to immigrate to Canada,” Citizenship and Immigration Canada spokeswoman Lindsay Wemp said.

The results have shocked everyone because the Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was taking the advantage of the last minute polls and election exit polls. However, the results have proved that the polls were wrong. The margin between the two candidates was too short which scrapped the falsely created hype over the victory of Hillary Clinton before the results.

The results have upset the Democratic supports and the ex-president Barack Obama who endorsed and campaigned for her. Obama has called Republican Donald Trump to hand over his presidency and congratulate him for the win over Democratic nominee and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Obama in pre-taped video asked “Americans to keep faith in the country no matter who wins.” He said “no matter what happens, the sun will rise in the morning and America will still be the greatest nation on Earth.”
